Fixed wire testing across Buckinghamshire
Buckinghamshire runs from the M40 towns of High Wycombe, Beaconsfield and Marlow in the south to Aylesbury and Buckingham in the north, with Milton Keynes covered on its own page. The south has offices and studios around Pinewood and Stoke Poges, technology and pharmaceutical businesses along the M40, and High Wycombe's Cressex industrial estate. Aylesbury brings the county council, Stoke Mandeville Hospital and growing distribution estates at Aston Clinton and Westcott. We work extensively across all of these and attend as soon as possible, at a time that suits your operation.

About fixed wire testing and EICRs
Fixed wire testing, formally an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR), is the periodic inspection and testing of a building's permanent wiring, distribution boards, protective devices, earthing and bonding. It is how duty holders demonstrate that an installation is being maintained safely under the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, and most insurers, landlords and accreditation schemes expect to see a current report. Observations are coded C1, C2, C3 or FI so that anything dangerous is dealt with first. For a full explanation of what the inspection involves, how often different buildings should be tested and what the codes mean, see our main Fixed Wire Testing service page.
