Fixed wire testing in Northampton
Northamptonshire sits at the centre of the UK's logistics network, with the M1, A14 and A45 bringing enormous distribution parks to Northampton, Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal, Kettering, Corby and Wellingborough. Northampton itself adds offices at Brackmills and Moulton Park, the University of Northampton's Waterside campus, Northampton General Hospital and a footwear and manufacturing heritage. Silverstone and the surrounding motorsport valley bring high technology engineering. We work extensively across all of these and attend as soon as possible, at a time that suits your operation. For the wider region see our Midlands fixed wire testing page.

About fixed wire testing and EICRs
Fixed wire testing, formally an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR), is the periodic inspection and testing of a building's permanent wiring, distribution boards, protective devices, earthing and bonding. It is how duty holders demonstrate that an installation is being maintained safely under the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, and most insurers, landlords and accreditation schemes expect to see a current report. Observations are coded C1, C2, C3 or FI so that anything dangerous is dealt with first. For a full explanation of what the inspection involves, how often different buildings should be tested and what the codes mean, see our main Fixed Wire Testing service page.
