Fixed wire testing across Lincolnshire
Lincolnshire is one of the largest counties in England, running from Grantham and Stamford in the south to Lincoln, Grimsby and Scunthorpe in the north. Food production and agriculture dominate around Boston, Spalding and the Fens, the Humber ports at Grimsby and Immingham bring logistics and processing, Scunthorpe has steel and heavy engineering, and Lincoln adds offices, the university and the county hospital. The county also has a significant RAF presence. We work extensively across all of these and attend as soon as possible, at a time that suits your operation. For the wider region see our Midlands fixed wire testing page.

About fixed wire testing and EICRs
Fixed wire testing, formally an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR), is the periodic inspection and testing of a building's permanent wiring, distribution boards, protective devices, earthing and bonding. It is how duty holders demonstrate that an installation is being maintained safely under the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, and most insurers, landlords and accreditation schemes expect to see a current report. Observations are coded C1, C2, C3 or FI so that anything dangerous is dealt with first. For a full explanation of what the inspection involves, how often different buildings should be tested and what the codes mean, see our main Fixed Wire Testing service page.
