Fixed wire testing in Birmingham
Birmingham is the UK's second city, with a commercial estate that runs from the office towers of Colmore Row, Brindleyplace and Snow Hill to the manufacturing and engineering heartlands of Tyseley, Witton, Aston, Castle Bromwich and the Jaguar Land Rover supply chain. The Bullring and Grand Central anchor retail, the NEC, Birmingham Airport and the Solihull business parks sit to the east, and the University of Birmingham, Aston University and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital are major estates. We work extensively across all of these and attend as soon as possible, at a time that suits your operation. For the wider region see our Midlands fixed wire testing page.

About fixed wire testing and EICRs
Fixed wire testing, formally an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR), is the periodic inspection and testing of a building's permanent wiring, distribution boards, protective devices, earthing and bonding. It is how duty holders demonstrate that an installation is being maintained safely under the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, and most insurers, landlords and accreditation schemes expect to see a current report. Observations are coded C1, C2, C3 or FI so that anything dangerous is dealt with first. For a full explanation of what the inspection involves, how often different buildings should be tested and what the codes mean, see our main Fixed Wire Testing service page.
