Fixed wire testing in Coventry
Coventry is a city of engineering, automotive research and higher education. Jaguar Land Rover at Whitley, the Manufacturing Technology Centre at Ansty Park, the University of Warwick and Warwick Manufacturing Group, Coventry University and the Binley, Foleshill and Bayton Road industrial estates give it a dense concentration of technical premises. Prologis Park at Ryton and the M6 and A45 corridors add large distribution centres, and University Hospital Coventry is a major estate. We work extensively across all of these and attend as soon as possible, at a time that suits your operation. For the wider region see our Midlands fixed wire testing page.

About fixed wire testing and EICRs
Fixed wire testing, formally an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR), is the periodic inspection and testing of a building's permanent wiring, distribution boards, protective devices, earthing and bonding. It is how duty holders demonstrate that an installation is being maintained safely under the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, and most insurers, landlords and accreditation schemes expect to see a current report. Observations are coded C1, C2, C3 or FI so that anything dangerous is dealt with first. For a full explanation of what the inspection involves, how often different buildings should be tested and what the codes mean, see our main Fixed Wire Testing service page.
