Fixed wire testing across Shropshire
Shropshire pairs the modern industrial town of Telford, with its Hortonwood, Halesfield, Stafford Park and Hadley Park estates and the M54 distribution corridor, with the historic county town of Shrewsbury and a large rural hinterland. Shrewsbury Business Park, the Battlefield estate and the town centre provide offices and retail, and the Royal Shrewsbury and Princess Royal hospitals, Harper Adams University and the county's many schools add public estates. We work extensively across all of these and attend as soon as possible, at a time that suits your operation. For the wider region see our Midlands fixed wire testing page.

About fixed wire testing and EICRs
Fixed wire testing, formally an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR), is the periodic inspection and testing of a building's permanent wiring, distribution boards, protective devices, earthing and bonding. It is how duty holders demonstrate that an installation is being maintained safely under the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, and most insurers, landlords and accreditation schemes expect to see a current report. Observations are coded C1, C2, C3 or FI so that anything dangerous is dealt with first. For a full explanation of what the inspection involves, how often different buildings should be tested and what the codes mean, see our main Fixed Wire Testing service page.
