Emergency Light Installation

Should your normal lighting fail in the event of a fire, your site / premises require emergency lighting as backup in order to comply with fire regulations. of a fire, emergency light installation is required in order to comply with regulations. In broad terms Emergency Lighting is lighting that automatically comes on when the power supply to the normal lighting system fails. This happens when the main power supply is cut off as a result of a fire, flood, or a power cut. This may result in sudden darkness and cause danger to the people inside the building, whether through panic or injury.Emergency lighting is usually required to operate fully automatically and give sufficient illumination to enable the occupants to evacuate the building as safely as possible.

Any company employing people has a duty of care to its employees. Emergency lighting is part of this responsibility and includes premises such as Schools, businesses, factories, warehouses, offices, hotels, clubs, pubs, hospitals, nursing homes, museums, shops, multi-storey dwellings, etc.  All require Emergency Lighting which conforms to: BS 5266-1:2016 Emergency lighting Code of practice for the emergency lighting of premises.

Emergency Lighting is usually more complex than the installation of standard lighting. We therefore call on our qualified engineers and vast experience to provide the best and most cost effective solution. Our emergency light engineers are fully qualified, providing you with the assurance that you will be left with nothing less than full compliance with fire safety regulations.

We will also guarantee all of our emergency light installations for a minimum of 12 months. As part of an ongoing service, we can provide a planned service, and six-monthly or yearly emergency light testing.
