Quantec Fixed Wire Testing
Periodic Fixed Wire Testing & Inspections, previously known as the Electrical Inspection & Condition Report, will determine if your electrical installation is safe and compliant with current Electricity at Work Regulations.
Usually, these are carried out every five years in Commercial, Retail and Educational environments. However, Industrial Sites are due for inspection every three years and Hospitals, Theatres and Leisure Centres are due once a year.
What are your responsibilities?
Under the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, employers have a “legal responsibility to protect those working or using their premises”. Failure to identify and effectively minimise risks with your electrical systems, can lead to unnecessary costs, serious disruption and even injury.

We will complete a structured programme of Electrical Testing and Inspection on your electrical installation. We will liaise with the nominated site contact, to ensure that disruption to your business is kept to a minimum. During the testing, any dangerous items are immediately brought to the attention of the on-site contact. Once testing is complete, our online technology enables the data collected by our engineers, to be sent directly to our offices. From this, comprehensive electrical installation condition reports are provided via our bespoke reporting system.
